EAAA - EZ Fix Program- fee-for-service program available to seniors over 50 and people with disabilities. For $20 an hour, a handyman or housekeeper will come to your home and clean or make minor repairs.

Maine Aging and Disability Resource Center-Home Modifications include any changes to an existing home that are made to help people with physical limitations live as safely and independently as possible. Home modifications can range from a few hundred dollars for items such as installing grab bars or higher amounts for major projects.

Maine State Housing -provides help to low-income homeowners who cannot afford necessary home repairs in the form of a Home Repair grant or Elderly Hardship grant

Penquis- programs include weatherization, energy efficiency improvements, and lead testing

Tri-County Technical Center (TCTC)/AOS 94: provides career and technical education for high school students residing in this region. It’s possible that students in the Building Trades program could provide assistance with projects such as ramps, repairs, etc.
